Bio

After my first travel to Egypt I joined oriental dance classes with teacher named Magdalena in Brno (Czech rep.). She captivated me with her feminine energy and I always enjoyed her dance classes. Untill now I am grateful to her for giving me love to oriental dance. Soon I attended Sara Abou Farhat workshops in arabian folklore dances. She influenced me a lot and thanks to her I started to study egyptian folklore dances. Another important moment in my dance improvement was visiting festival in Duisburg where I could meet Jillina and Amir Thaleb and join their classes.

Very significant was year 2006 when I went to Egypt to join Ahlan Wa Sahlan festival where I could see contemporary egyptian style and amazing show by Asmahan who is one of my dance idols. One of my dreams became true and I could learn egyptian folklore dances from masters- Mahmoud Reda (The Reda Troupe) and Kamal Naim (Kalmaya National Group) who I highly respect. I also had a chance to see national folklore groups dancing alive and that is one of the strongest experience I am having from each trip to Egypt. In the same year I started to teach beginners classes in Czech rep. and together with dancers Samiya and Aini I founded folklore group Al Fayyum Dancers with who we travel for shows natinally and internationally too.

0821In year 2007 I started to perform in egyptian restaurant called Faraon and on summer I went to Egypt for two months, where I was taking private classes and workshops of egyptian style with Randa Kamel, Khaled Mahmoud, Shallaby, Suhaila Salimpur or Khaera Mazin. I also had a chance to see unique show directed by Mahmoud Reda in Alexandria where I could see all egyptian folklore at one stage. Except this I travelled all over Egypt to understand this beautiful culture which helped me to understand egyptian folklore dances too. On autumn same year I was invited to perform in India mostly on weddings and company parties. Beside this I was taking classes of indian dances what made me to use it in our group repertoir too. At 2008 we went with Al Fayyum Dancers to Germany for Miss Bellydance of the World competition in Duisburg organized by Leyla Jouvanna where we won in two categories.

In 2009 I temporary ended performing in India and I continue with regular classes and workshops, performing and training Al Fayyum Dancers group in Czech rep. In this year was also founded e-magazine Orient Express where I write articles in Czech language. Orient Express is coming in english version on 2011! I joined workshops and private classes with Yasmina of Cairo, Virgina Mendez, Aziza or Sandra. In this year I am getting many awards as soloist and with my group Al Fayyum Dancers in Germany and Czech rep. Autumn 2009 I organized 2nd oriental galashow in Brno, Czech r. with national dancers and I also started to organize „Oriental disco“ in Brno´s music clubs with guest dancers all over Czech rep.

Year 2010 was also very succesful for me as I had wonderful chances to travel – on January me and my czech colleaugues went to Cairo again and we had a chance to visit shows by Cairo dancers and also folklore show. We attend private classes with Randa Kamel and Leila of Cairo – famous dancers in Egypt.  I was a guest performer and teacher of festivals and events – Oriswiss in Switzerland, Mandragon in Poland, Egyptian Fever in Poland, Austrienta in Austria, and we went to Orient Expo in Hungary with my girls from Al Fayyum Dancers. We got another awards – Liptov Orient in Slovakia 1.place with Ghawazee and 3.place with Veil and zills, then 1.place again with Ghawazee but this time in Czech rep. at festival called Lets Dance where I got recognition for my choreography from Aida Nour a Yousry Sharif which I am so happy for! I also have decided to organize 5 days festival in Brno – 5 days and international dancers for the first time ever! Festival is called Tales of Sahara and it´s coming up on 2011 too!

I consider Lulu Sabongi, Fifi Abdo and Randa Kamel as my biggest dance idols and source of inspiration, they are great dancers and women too.
